Accounts, views and opinions expressed by the author in these books and those on this site do not necessarily reflect the views of the Publisher, Editor, Translator or Distributor.

Ringing Cedars North America is an independent book distributor and is not affiliated with, does not it endorse, and assumes no responsibility for any individuals, entities or groups who claim to be manufacturing or marketing products or supplying services referred to in the books published by Ringing Cedars Press or on this website, or who otherwise claim to be acting in accordance with any of the information or philosophies set forth herein.

Our Privacy Policy

Ringing Cedars North America believes that your personal information—including your order history, phone number, email and residential addresses, and credit card data—belongs to you. We collect this type of information only to serve you when you provide it to us, but we do not rent or sell your information to third parties.

Security

The Ringing Cedars Online Store uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all web pages where personal information is required. To make purchases from the Ringing Cedars Online Store, you must use an SSL-enabled browser. Doing so protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information by encrypting it while it’s transmitted over the Internet.

Disclosure to Outside Parties

We work with reputable third party suppliers, such as fulfillment services (companies that warehouse and ship your order) and freight companies (mainly USPS and FedEX) to assist us in delivering your order to you. In these instances, we will provide your personal information to those third parties only so that they can perform these services. In addition, we may be required to disclose your personal information to third parties based on a legal obligation; however we will only accommodate these requests when it is determined to be legally necessary in the reasonable opinion of our counsel.

What We Collect and Why

Our primary goal in collecting personal information—including your order history, phone number, email and residential address—is to provide you with a smooth, efficient, customized shopping experience. It allows us to refer to our records when, for instance, you ask us "when an order was shipped?, or to "re-ship to the same address."

When You Request a Free eBook Report or Subscribe to our News Updates

When you request a free eBook report, we ask for your name and email address (to which we will send the report link), plus other information (should you wish to provide it), such as your interest in readers' conferences and workshops, or in the opportunity of connecting with other Ringing Cedars readers in your area. This information will be used solely for the purpose of evaluating the collective interest in such an event or workshop in or near your region. If we decide to hold such an event or workshop, and if you have registered your interest, we may send you advance notice and an invitation.

If you register for our News Updates, you may receive an occasional announcement of special offers, new releases and notification of upcoming events related only to the Ringing Cedars Series.

If you register for "anything interesting", you may receive an occasional announcement related to other projects we are working on. To ensure that we are providing materials of interest to you, we may monitor whether you actually open our emails or click on any links included. (We like to know if we're wasting your time and ours!)

To do this we use a standard feature of HTML-based email messages that include a sensor that is activated when the email message is opened. This sensor simply communicates the date and time the message was opened. You will receive a functioning sensor only if your computer is enabled to accept HTML email. This in no way gives us access to your computer or emails, nor does it communicate any other information to us.

You may also unregister at any time from our email program by clicking on the unregister link at the bottom of any email message, or unregister area at the bottom of the homepage of this website. All unregister requests will be honored within 5—10 business days.

When You Contact Customer Service

When you contact our Customer Service department, we use the phone number, mailing and email addresses you have provided, together with comments generated on previous calls to help us assist you. We may also pass your feedback along to other departments within our company in order to improve our services.

Updates to this Policy

We reserve the right to update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of these updates. In addition, feel free to check back to this website for any additional updates.
